Texas Plus Support

Texas Plus Support has announced that they will play a special show in October at Symphony Hall. The special show is in addition to the band’s larger Jump on Board Live Tour. The Scottish pop rock band, formed in 1986, has remained active through 2005, when they announced that the band would go on hiatus. The band was founded by Johnny McElhone and Sharleen Spiteri who is the band’s lead vocalist.

The band’s debut in 1988 led to the release of Southside, their debut album, in 1989.

“I Don’t Want a Lover” was the band’s debut single, which quickly rose to the top of the UK charts. The album hit the top three spots in the United Kingdom and rose to the 88th position on the US Billboard 200 charts.

Spiteri would go on to sing for Rammstein on their “Rosenrol” album and then began to work on her solo career. She wrote most of her own lyrics on her album and released her debut solo album Melody in July 2008.

The hiatus saw Spiteri mold into her solo career with the release of her second album The Movie Songbook. The entire album consists of movie covers that she handpicked.

Texas would reform in 2013 with the release of The Conversation album. The album was the band’s first since 2005.

Texas has sold over 40 million records worldwide since their debut and has produced 13 top 10 singles on the UK charts. The band’s albums have reached the top of the UK chart three times, with eight albums reaching the top 10 charts.

Jump on Board is the band’s latest album, released in May 2017.

“Let’s Work It Out” is the band’s lead single from their Jump on Board album. The album received praise in Scotland, hitting the top of the charts on the Scottish Album Charts. The album has also reached the top spot on the France charts.

The band has announced the Jump on Board Live Tour 2017 in support of the album. The band also celebrated their 30-year anniversary last year. The tour was slated to last for just 21 shows that will be performed in September and October. The band has since expanded their tour dates, with tour dates through the end of 2017.

Texas’ single “Let’s Work It Out” was an interesting addition to the album. The single features Thierry Henry, the ex-striker for Arsenal.
