Grimsby Theatre Shows and Venues

Grimsby offers two main venues for theatre shows: Grimsby Auditorium and Caxton Theatre. Adults often flock to the Caxton Theatre because of the adult-oriented lineup of shows, but the Auditorium is also a popular choice that has a good lineup of kid’s shows, too.

If you’re in the mood for a show, these are the two venues you’ll want to visit.

Grimsby Auditorium

The Grimsby Auditorium is one of the town’s biggest venues, and people from across the UK come to the venue to take in the shows. The venue is located on Cromwell Road, with a 350-car parking lot.

There are also 10 coach parking spaces.

Ample parking in the front and on the side of the venue allows guests quick entrance into the venue.

Disabled car parking facilities, baby stations and a social story guide are available. Service dogs are allowed in the venue.

Seating Options

Three rows of seating are available: balcony, circle and stalls. The stalls are on the ground floor and provide optimal seating for guests. The circle is a good compromise and offers an above-stage view.

The balcony has ample seating, too, with the best overhead views.

Ample refreshments and food are available at the Grimsby Theatre. The refreshment facilities include:

  • 2 fully licensed, well-stocked bars

Guests can eat before the show or afterwards, providing that the bars are open. There are ample eateries around the venue to eat after the show, too.

The facilities open one hour prior to shows on Sundays. The venue will close 15 minutes after the start of the show, so make sure you arrive on time.
